2009 BONSAI EXHIBITION A GREAT SUCCESS!

Each year we sponsor an exhibition for our members to display their beautiful bonsai.
Every year we say it is the best and this year was no exception.
And curiously there were ties for both first and second place.

    And the winners are...

  • Ken Bach and Lou Carreiro who tied for first place with their Japanese Juniper and Brazilian Rain Tree respectively.

  • Michael Jackson and Ken Bach (again) who tied for second place with their Japanese Juniper and Japanese Holly respectively.

  • Ken Bach took third place with his shohin Juniper ( the same tree that tied for first).

  • Michael Vaitkus walked away with Ogre’s choice award ( Nick’s favorite of the day).

and a special thank you to Kris Springer who cooked up a delicious lunch for us all and was the Ogre’s chauffeur and major domo. Many thanks to Nick Lenz and John Romano - our esteemed judges. A special thank you to the Cape Cod Bonsai Club for all their beautiful trees and participation. To all who participated THANK YOU and congratulations...and to you out there who did not...we hope to see you at our next show.
