A modern improvement for bonsai technique. Instead of raffia, wrap this tape around the branch or trunk to be wired. It is very elastic and sticks to itself when applied. No adhesive needed. It protects the bark from wire damage and is increasingly replacing the raffia as an easier and more effective alternative.
