- Jun Imabayashi Wiring & Shaping Advanced Class (June 3, 2018)
Jun Imabayashi is New England Bonsai Garden’s resident Bonsai Master, and while reluctant to talk about himself or his accomplishments, Jun is a well-traveled, well-refined Bonsai professional crafted in the Japanese Bonsai culture.
Mr. Imabayashi is originally from Fukuoka, Japan, and apprenticed under three Bonsai Masters before joining NEBG in 2011.
This is an advanced level workshop. It's a pleasure to have Jun host a workshop and share his knowledge.
Bonsai trees are trained using sophisticated techniques to keep them small and to achieve desired goals.
Participants must have bonsai experience and you should bring your own tree(s) that are in need of major bending, drastic changes or detail work. No task is too small or big for this workshop. Learn how to make major changes to existing bonsai plants, including bending, trimming and detail work.
