- Member's Day Workshop #1 with Glen Lord (Sat April 21, 2018)
Gain hands-on experience pruning, wiring and repotting a juniper, a great choice for beginners.
The juniper bonsai tree has long been recognized as one of the most popular trees for bonsai trees. Due the flexibility of the branches and growing characteristic, the Juniper bonsai tree is very easy to train and shape. This hardy evergreen should be grown outdoors and offers many styling options. Learn what to look for when selecting a tree with “bonsai potential,” how to determine its style, and what to do to keep it healthy. All materials provided - except the bonsai pot - that you'll have to purchase separately.
Note: You'll be working with Junipers that have been "reserved" for this exclusive Member's Weekend Workshop.
