FREE POSTAGE IS ONLY AVAILABLE ON STANDARD DELIVERY TO UK MAINLAND ADDRESSES.
What are my delivery options to the UK and how much do they cost?
Standard delivery is 2-4 days from the date of despatch - For orders over £50 this service is completely free. For orders under £50 the price is £3.70. (Please note, free postage is only available on standard delivery to UK mainland addresses. £50 is the value of the goods including VAT.) Next Working Day - £6.50 (Please note that the Next Working Day option is only available if all the items you are trying to order are in stock. Orders must be placed before 3pm Monday - Friday to be despatched the same day.) Please note. We do not despatch or deliver on weekends and public holidays. We cannot offer our next working day option to certain remote locations including some parts of the Scottish Highlands, Belfast and Northern Ireland.What are your despatching hours?
We despatch Monday - Friday from 8.00am to 4.30pm. Next Working Day orders must be placed by 3pm Monday - Friday to be despatched that day.What are my delivery options outside the UK and how much do they cost?
We offer two levels of service depending on how quickly you need your order delivered. Standard Standard International method is suitable for all orders to be shipped outside the United Kingdom. We use Royal Mail International, DPD International (part of the Geopost group) and ParcelForce Worldwide, delivery takes 3-31 days from despatch dependent on location. Shipping prices are calculated on the size and volumetric weight of the parcel. Express This shipping method is suitable for all orders to be shipped outside the United Kingdom. Express takes 1-4 days for delivery from despatch, dependant on location. Shipping prices are calculated on the size and volumetric weight of the goods contained in the parcelWhen will you despatch my order?
All orders will be shipped as soon as all the items are available - subject to payment authorisation. Where items on your order are out of stock the order will ship once all of the orders components become available. If you would rather not wait for the remainder to come in to stock, we advise that you place a separate order for these items. Please note: At exceptionally busy times like Christmas or in periods of adverse weather conditions deliveries may be delayed by a day or two beyond normal timescales quoted. At these times we cannot guarantee next day delivery when selected.Can I use an alternative delivery address?
If you would like us to ship to an alternative address rather than your registered billing address, simply tick the box (during checking out) and complete the address details. Please Note. The Billing address must be the address your payment card is registered to. PO Box addresses may not be accepted. Unfortunately for PayPal customers we can only ship to your PayPal registered addresses. This restriction is a fraud prevention measure issued by PayPal and is beyond our control, sorry.Can I Track My Delivery?
Yes, when we despatch your order we will email you with the tracking details. Tracking details may not appear or update on the carrier's web site until the parcel has been scanned into their network on the evening of despatch.I've missed my delivery
For Royal Mail parcels which have been attempted to be delivered and returned back to the customer’s local Royal Mail collection office. The Royal Mail collection depot must be contacted/visited by the customer’s themselves providing proof of id and calling card. This is the customer’s responsibility to check if parcel being held at their depot, and to arrange to collect the goods. For orders despatched via a courier, the courier will contact you via SMS or Email (if you provided details) with in flight and re-delivery options.Will I need to sign for my delivery?
We use a variety of Royal Mail, DPD and ParcelForce services for deliveries in the UK, some of these services may require proof of delivery. Some international shipments may also require a signature as proof of delivery.Overseas Orders, VAT and Import Duties
If your delivery country is inside the European Union then your order will be subject to VAT (Value Added Tax) at the current rate. Unfortunately goods purchased by mail order, including internet sales, are excluded from the Government’s tax free shopping scheme. We are therefore unable to provide a VAT 407 reclaim form for goods delivered within the EU that you intend to export. For more information please visit https://www.gov.uk/tax-on-shopping/taxfree-shopping For exports to countries outside the EU although these are exempt from VAT you may be required to pay import duties by your government, you will be notified by the courier that delivers your goods if this is the case. We are more than happy to ship orders via the BFPO mail system, in fact Simply Scuba is the only specialist scuba retailer registered with the British Forces Post Office commercial contracts list and approved for sending items using the BFPO mail system. When placing your order, remember to use your BFPO Postcode in the delivery address to ensure we can connect it to the BFPO mail system as quickly as possible. Please be aware that due to the nature of the BFPO, certain items we sell may be restricted or prohibited for delivery via the BPFO and ParcelForce networks. If your goods have either been received as damaged or are missing please contact Customer Care immediately, either by email hello@simplyscuba.com or by calling us on 0844 567 7073. If the goods are damaged we will need a proof of the damage, either by the item being returned to us, or in some cases an image sent via email. Customer Care they can advise you on the best course of action. Once we have verified the damage we can then rectify the situation. If your UK delivery is delayed in transit we are required to wait 5 days before we can claim and resend your order. If you are an overseas customer we have to wait up to a maximum of 30 days from despatch, after this period has passed we can re-send the goods.Healthy Tree Guarantee
We take deep personal pride in delivering trees to our customers that they’ll cherish forever, and that all begins with our detailed & extensive process of prepping and packaging our Bonsai for transit.
However, once we hand over the package to the carrier, the treatment and care of the tree is no longer under our control and unfortunately, things do happen in transit that can negatively affect the health and wellbeing of your tree.

Non-Specimen Bonsai (Trees Under $100)
- We guarantee all non-specimen Bonsai for 30 days, whether you purchase them instore or online. In the event that you purchase your tree online, we can guarantee that the tree will ship healthy, but weather and shipping services can have an impact on the condition your Bonsai arrives in. If there are any issues upon your tree’s arrival, PLEASE contact us immediately so we can intervene and do everything we can to save the Bonsai.
Specimen Bonsai (Trees $100 and Above)
- We guarantee all specimen Bonsai will ship from our facility in peak health. Specimen trees are one-of-a-kind and because of their unique nature our ability to replace them is extremely limited. If you have ordered a specimen tree from us and it arrives damaged, you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt. After that time, any health problems or damage to the tree are considered the buyer's responsibility. We strongly urge any customer purchasing a specimen tree from us to review our care instructions for their breed to ensure it thrives in their care. We guarantee that all specimen Bonsai arrive healthy and true to name. Please note that once a tree leaves our nursery, weather and shipping services can have an impact on the condition your Bonsai arrives in. If there are any issues upon your specimen tree’s arrival, PLEASE contact us immediately so we can intervene and do everything we can to save the Bonsai. Insurance is ALWAYS purchased.
- Water your bonsai. It is thoroughly watered to ensure it has plenty of moisture during transit.
- Secure your bonsai. The pot is securely wrapped and taped up, both to protect the tree as well as to help hold in moisture.
- Package your bonsai. We ship our bonsai trees in large corrugated boxes that leave room for the tree on all sides.
- Add extra security. Unless we feel it will potentially harm a fragile tree, we add packing peanuts around the tree. This provides shock protection, as well as helping to insulate it during shipment
- Return the item in the same condition in which you received it.
- Include the packing slip with the "reason for return" section completed, and
- Return the item within 30 days of the shipment date.
