It’s that time of year again, New England. Time to decandle your Black Pines and trim your Deciduous Bonsai!

Under the professional instruction and demonstration of Pete Olson, you’ll first learn how these seasonal tasks are correctly performed. After the demo, Pete will help guide you through these seasonal tasks on your own Bonsai, giving you the confidence and knowledge you need to create a healthy and beautiful Bonsai for your collection.

Students are expected to bring their own tree or to purchase a tree for the class. We provide some of the happiest and healthiest Bonsai trees, and we love to share our knowledge!

If you would like to purchase a tree for the class, Pete will help you select appropriate material. The cost of the tree is not included in the workshop fee.

Attendee Cost: $45 per student. Tools and other instruments will be available for you to use.

Duration: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. If you arrive a few minutes early, you'll have more time to enjoy the nursery!

Unless otherwise specified, all students should meet in the greenhouse labeled “Workshop.” It’s right behind our retail store – you can’t miss it.
