Enjoy the process of creating your own professional-grade bonsai soil mix. This DIY Kit gives you the same ingredients found in our Premium Ready-To-Use Blend, but allows you to control the process. It’s a great way to learn about soil composition, save money, and tailor the mix to your trees' specific needs.
What’s Included
- Akadama (2 quarts) – Premium Japanese volcanic clay for moisture regulation and root development. Sifted to remove dust and fines.
- American Pumice (2 quarts) – Lightweight and porous. Promotes aeration and retains moisture. Clean and sifted.
- Black or Red Lava Rock (2 quarts) – Choose your color. Prevents compaction, adds structure, and supports drainage.
