This Frank Yee Cork Bark Jade is just starting to show its age—and that’s a very good thing. The corking has begun to appear on the base and lower trunk, offering a rare glimpse into a tree’s transformation before it happens.

• Corking in its early stage – This tree is showing clear bark texture along the trunk and branch unions. It’s the beginning of what will become dramatic fissures and rugged bark over the years.
