Full-Time Shipping & Fulfillment Associate

New England Bonsai Gardens is looking for a dependable, hard-working Full-Time Shipping & Fulfillment Associate to join our team.

This position is a great fit for someone who likes staying busy, takes pride in doing things right, and understands that the small details matter. Our customers trust us to pack and ship living bonsai trees, pottery, tools, soil, and other specialty products with care and accuracy. We are looking for someone who can help us deliver a great customer experience from the moment an order is placed to the moment it arrives.

Position Overview

The Shipping & Fulfillment Associate is responsible for preparing, packing, and shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently. This role also supports general nursery and warehouse organization, inventory handling, Amazon kitting and assembly, and other seasonal workflow needs.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and prepare online orders for shipment
  • Coordinate with our shipping team in Florida
  • Carefully package bonsai trees, pots, tools, soil, and related products
  • Print shipping labels and help coordinate outgoing shipments
  • Assemble kits for Amazon and large wholesale orders
  • Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient shipping area
  • Assist with inventory movement, stocking, and product organization
  • Receive incoming deliveries and help put products away
  • Support the team with seasonal projects and general operational tasks
  • Help ensure products are packed safely to reduce shipping damage
  • Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and quality

Qualifications

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to stay organized and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable being on your feet for much of the day
  • Able to lift and move boxes, soil, pots, and supplies
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
  • Prior shipping, warehouse, nursery, or retail experience is helpful, but not required
  • Appreciation for plants, bonsai, or hands-on work is a plus

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Bookkeeping & Customer Service Coordinator

New England Bonsai Gardens is looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Bookkeeping & Customer Service Coordinator to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things organized, takes pride in accuracy, and can help keep day-to-day office operations on track. We are looking for someone who can support a variety of financial, customer service, and administrative tasks, including QuickBooks activities, payroll support, phone coverage, order entry, customer service emails, website listings, and general office coordination.

This is an important role for our business. The right person will help create structure, improve follow-through, and support the financial and operational side of the company.

Position Overview

The Bookkeeping & Customer Service Coordinator supports daily office operations with a strong focus on bookkeeping, customer communication, order entry, and general administrative support. This position requires someone who is organized, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a wide range of responsibilities in a small business environment.

This is a full-time position, though flexible hours may be possible for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with general QuickBooks activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Help process payroll and support paycheck administration
  • Enter customer and manual orders into our system accurately
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls and customer service emails
  • Support invoicing, data entry, and general administrative work
  • Assist with customer service follow-up and internal communication between team members and departments
  • Help monitor deadlines, priorities, and outstanding tasks
  • Assist with website listings and related administrative updates
  • Support other day-to-day office and operational needs as required

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organized and dependable
  • Comfortable working with numbers, records, and systems
  • Experience with QuickBooks accounting software is required
  • Payroll and bookkeeping experience is required
  • Comfortable answering phones and communicating professionally with customers
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks
  • Strong computer, data entry, and general administrative skills
  • Prior office administration, bookkeeping, customer service, or administrative support experience preferred
