Grafting tape serves multiple purposes. It can be used as bandage to splint for broken/cracked branches or twigs. And it can also be used to hold the soil and roots for the root over rock design of Bonsai styling.

Grafting tape resembles adhesive tape and is secure while allowing air to permeate the wound.
