Large Yoshiaki Root Pruner
Similar to the F2 Root Pruner, the F3 is larger / longer by a couple inches. It measures 10 3/4" in length.
Root pruning is important to the health of your bonsai. No tree can stay in the same bonsai pot indefinitely without eventual root work.
The Yoshiaki Root Pruners are built strong and designed for the toughest bonsai roots. This 10 3/4” Carbon Steel Root Pruner is designed for removing difficult roots with ease. They are exceptionally adept at removing roots immediately below the base of the Bonsai’s trunk, and the long handle allow for a comfortable and powerful cut.
Interesting Fact: There so strong and sharp that a lot of farmers use our tools on horse farms. What we know as Root Pruners is also being used as a hoof trimming tool.
These - as all Japanese Yoshiaki Tools - are hand forged with high-carbon steel. They are the preferred tools of World Renown Bonsai Master Masahiko Kimura and they are used EXCLUSIVELY on our trees at New England bonsai Gardens.

Shipping Bonsai Trees:
Bonsai trees are generally shipped on Mondays & Tuesdays to avoid having them stay in the boxes for any extra time over the weekends.
Shipping Non-Tree Items
All non-bonsai items such as bonsai pots and bonsai supplies are shipped within 48 hours of receiving payment. Most orders are shipped either the same day or the next day, depending on the time of day the order is received.
Important Guidelines:
** We cannot ship to a FPO, APO, P.O. Box or to locations in Alaska, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Hawaii or anywhere internationally.
** All Bonsai are shipped direct from the nursery and may ship separately from other items purchased via the Bonsai Outlet.
** If extreme weather is expected, we may delay shipping your Bonsai tree to guarantee a healthy arrival; in such a case we will contact you. We are shipping living trees and must be conscious of the temperature conditions to the delivery address, as well as, while in transit. That said, we reserve the right to hold the tree(s) to guarantee a healthy delivery. We will Hold Your Tree Until It is Safe to Ship.
