This is a One Of A Kind Japanese Maple

This Japanese Maple with their small attractive leaves, delicate texture and brilliant color, are very desirable for bonsai. New leaves emerge in reddish shades often with a pink edge, which in summer turn to a rich green. A yellow-orange hue follows in the fall.

This is a really cool tree. I don't remember exactly how many trees were fused together, but I believe 8 or 9 seedlings. This is a common technique to create a large base trunk with a dramatic even taper in a relatively short time frame. This tree will turn into an awesome shohin! 

Prefers dappled shade and protection against strong, drying winds. Deciduous. Keep outdoors. Japanese Maples are the perfect tree to add contrast and texture to your collection.

The soft delicate texture and brilliant colors are the perfect balance for your strong pines and junipers.
